No Face Scar Lift is a unique thread lift developed by Japanese Neurosurgeon: Soichiro Kondo M.D.PhD. for providing the reliable results with minimal invasiveness.
This is a surgery in which the skin of the face line, which has been previously detached from the subcutaneous tissue, is pulled up using special threads inserted into the scalp from the sideburns, and the skin is then adhered at that height.

Why choose Quick Titanium Peck Lift?
No face cutting
The face is pulled up by threads passing through the scalp, so there is no need to cut the face, and no threads are passed through the face itself.
Small scalp incision (av.3 cm)
The surgical incision at the temporal portion is 3cm long and hidden by hair.
Short down time
Generally, there is no internal bleeding after surgery., Face edema will be observed only for 3-4 days.
Short surgery
The surgery is completed in 20 minutes on one side and 40 minutes on both sides. Anesthesia is used so there is no pain.
Long-lasting effect
The lifted skin will heal within 3-4 months after surgery, and the lifting effect will last almost permanently.
Repeated lifting is possible
In the future, lifting can be repeated using the thread and screws that were once placed, while keeping costs and surgical burdens to a minimum.

What is No Face Scar Lift?
A 2−3cm incision is made in the scalp, hidden by the hair. A 1mm diameter titanium screw is fixed to the skull underneath, The skin of the face line that has been detached from the subcutaneous tissue is pulled up securely using special threads that are inserted through the sideburns and fixed to titanium screws placed in the temporal bone. Three to four months after surgery, the skin adheres to the lifted-up position and is fixed in place.
Initial Procedure
20 mins per side (40 mins for both)
A small ~2 cm incision is made within the scalp, hidden under the hairline. A 1 mm diameter titanium screw (Titan Peck) is fixed to the bone. Special threads are then used to lift the facial contour.
Thread Adjustment Procedure
About 20 minutes
To maintain optimal lifting results, a minor thread-adjustment procedure is performed 2–3 weeks after the initial surgery, removing slack from the threads to ensure proper tension.
Post-surgery progress
Pre operative state

Lift up level 0
Before surgery
This 40 yrs old patient was troubled by sagging face line and puffiness around the mouth.
Post operative state

Lift up level 10
Unnatural Over-Lifting
Immediately after surgery, the face will look somewhat unnatural because we will be performing maximum lifting. (This is NOT the final goal.)
Day 0-4
After surgery & downtime
Just post operative state
There is no internal bleeding or swelling, and the face line is extremely lifted. There is no pain immediately after the procedure because the anesthesia is still in effect.
From when the anesthesia wears off until the next day
You may experience pain from the scalp wound. In that case, please use the painkillers (oral or suppository) provided.
2-4 days after the operation
The pulled skin will try to return to its original position, pulling the thread. This will cause facial swelling after surgery. However, internal bleeding generally does not occur. Swelling will peak on the third day after surgery, and will improve considerably by the fifth day.
2–3 weeks post-procedure
As swelling subsides and the threads integrate with the skin, a natural lifting effect is achieved.
2-3 weeks after the operation

Lift up level 7
Natural lift range
The threads will stretch and blend in without going against the biological reaction of the skin to return to its original position for a few days after surgery, and will achieve a natural lifting level 2-3 weeks after surgery. This is the goal of this treatment.
Post-surgery progress

Optimal and natural facial lift
The lifting level immediately after surgery is rated as 10. After 2 to 3 weeks, when the swelling has completely subsided, the threads will have settled in well and the lifting level will be around 7. The facial lifting effect will be beautiful and natural.

Why is thread adjustment necessary?
After the subcutaneous tissue is detached and lifted during the procedure, the skin along the facial line appears dramatically elevated immediately post-surgery. However, this heightened state is not sustainable.
Within 3 days post-surgery, the body naturally attempts to revert the lifted skin to its original position. If the threads are too tight or lack elasticity, excessive tension can lead to increased swelling, discomfort, and pain. Conversely, if the threads are too loose, they may stretch during this period, reducing the lifting effect.
The threads used in the Quick Titan Peck Lift possess unique elasticity, providing optimal tension without over-stretching or causing undue pressure on the skin. This ensures minimal swelling and pain while adapting to the skin’s natural contours.
Approximately 2–3 weeks post-surgery, when swelling subsides and skin adhesion begins, the threads may loosen slightly. If left unaddressed, this can cause the lifted skin to descend slightly before full adhesion occurs, potentially resulting in a less optimal outcome.
To prevent this and maintain the skin’s position at its highest point, an adjustment procedure is performed 2–3 weeks post-surgery. This involves reopening the initial incision to reposition the threads, eliminating any slack. This adjustment ensures that the lifting effect achieved at 2–3 weeks remains stable and continues to improve over time, leading to the final desired result.
Re-lifting method

1 month post-procedure
3-4 months after surgery
The skin adheres to the subcutaneous tissue at the raised position.
6 months after surgery and after

Maintenance with aging
As we age, the natural sagging of the facial line is inevitable, regardless of the treatments received. However, by utilizing the previously inserted threads and titanium pegs, we can easily readjust the tension of the threads, reducing costs, surgical time, and overall burden.
Note: After skin adhesion has occurred, removing the threads and pegs will not diminish the results. If desired, they can be removed in a brief procedure at any time.

Where does the saggfing skin on my face go?
The pulled skin moves to the sideburns in front of the ears and accumulates there. However, after we improved the thread used to pull the skin up from one to two, the sagging became much less noticeable immediately after surgery. In any case, by the time the pulled skin on the face heals, about four months after surgery, this sagging will be dispersed within the scalp and will no longer be noticeable. Please rest assured.

Safe and secure treatment

Deep sedation during surgery
Anesthesia is administered via intravenous drip. You will be fast asleep during the surgery, so you will not feel any pain.

Ensuring functionality and safety
The pure titanium screws used in this treatment are CT and MRI compatible and do not interfere with the examination. They are also the same as those used for dental implant bases and in neurosurgery and plastic surgery. Functionality and safety are guaranteed.

Biocompatible sutures
The thread used in this treatment has the property of safely blending in with the body and not resisting the biological reaction that occurs 3 to 4 days after surgery to return the skin to its original shape. It has a smooth structure without any jagged edges, so it can be safely removed at any time.

Another benefit of Kondo Lift
For future sagging skin due to aging, we can reduce the burden and budget with a “re-lifting procedure”
Even if the face line is lifted reliably, sagging skin due to aging will occur again in the future. Patients who have had the Quick Titanium Pec Lift can use the screws and threads inserted in the first surgery to perform re-lifting surgery with less burden and budget, and treat sagging skin due to aging as many times as they like.
Re-lifting method

Additional treatment to improve lifting effect and durability (OPTIONAL)
”Thread adjustment ”
Two to three weeks after the first surgery, a surgery is performed to remove any loose threads, with the aim of keeping the raised skin as high as possible.
Why is thread adjustment necessary?
The skin of the face line that is detached from the subcutaneous tissue is pulled up extremely immediately after lifting. However, this state cannot continue.
A biological reaction to return the pulled skin to its original state is sure to occur for three days from the night of the surgery. If the thread is too strong or not extensible, a large force will be applied to the scalp and face, causing swelling, puffiness, and strong pain. Conversely, if the thread is too weak, it will stretch out during this period and the lifting effect will be reduced.
The thread used in the Quick Titanium Pec Lift has its own extensibility, is neither too strong nor too weak, does not put a strain on the skin, and stretches to the optimal state while minimizing swelling and pain.
This stretching of the thread will cause the thread to loosen and become loose around 2-3 weeks after surgery when the swelling after surgery subsides. If left untreated, the skin that was lifted and removed will return to a somewhat lower position over the course of 3-4 months until adhesion with the subcutaneous tissue is complete (Lifting Level 6).
To prevent this and to keep the skin adhered and fixed as high as possible, the same incision is made 2-3 weeks after surgery, when the swelling has subsided and the skin has not yet begun to adhere, and the position of the screw is adjusted to remove any slack in the thread. This allows the lifting effect after 2-3 weeks (Lifting Level 7) to become the final goal after 6 months.
Please consider this treatment if you would like more reliable and long-lasting results.
*As a general rule, for all patients who live in Japan, this thread adjustment is performed 2-3 weeks after the initial surgery.
